ESCAMBIA COUNTY - Students at Ernest Ward Middle School fought a "Penny War".

Together, they raised more than 22-hundred dollars to send two local veterans on an upcoming Emerald Coast Honor Flight.

Honor Flight take veterans on a one day trip to Washington DC to see war memorials that stand in their honor.

The next Emerald Coast Honor Flight takes off April 1st.
